Jim is the son of Alfred Edgar "Ted" Hann (1882 Shirley, Southampton - 1963 Shirley, Southampton) and
Hetty Catchlove.
Nipper, Jack, Lofty and Phil were the sons of his elder brother James Henry "Harry" Hann
(1878 Netherbury, Dorset - 1967 Rownhams, Hants) and Hetty's sister Emma Catchlove

Granddad's siblings

During the Great  War, George Frederick served  with  both the Royal Berkshire Regiment and  Labour Corps, James Henry as a lorry driver with the Army Service Corps, Alfred Edgar with the Royal Garrison Artillery and Charles Arthur with the Hampshire Regiment
